Terms of service
Last updated 7 October 2026
BNJ Marketing App is run by Bianca Joseph, trading as BNJ Development, in South Africa (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@bnjdevelopment.co.za. These terms apply when you create an account or use the app. By using it, you agree to them.
1. What the app does
The app helps small businesses market themselves: it turns photos and notes you provide into suggested social media posts and graphics, gives you a public business page with online bookings, and reminds you when to post. You share posts from your own social media accounts — the app does not post on your behalf.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate details about yourself and your business.
- Keep access to your email secure — sign-in links are sent there. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- The account owner can add staff; staff can view but not change your business details or posts.
3. Free trial and plans
- New businesses get a free 7-day trial with up to 3 posts. No card is needed and nothing is charged during the trial.
- After the trial you can choose a monthly plan. Prices are shown in the app and on our home page, in South African Rand.
- Plans renew every month and are charged automatically through our payment provider (Paystack) until you cancel. We never see or store your full card details.
- Each plan includes limits (platforms, posts, graphics and AI usage). If you reach a limit, some features pause until your next billing month or until you upgrade.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing month after the notice.
- Cancelling, failed payments and refunds are covered by our cancellation and refund policy.
4. Your content and AI suggestions
- You keep ownership of the photos, logos and information you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the app for you (for example to write captions and make graphics).
- Captions and graphics are created with the help of AI and may contain mistakes. You must check every post before you approve and share it — you are responsible for what you publish.
- Only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows people, make sure they agree to appear online.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to:
- publish false, misleading or illegal content, including made-up reviews, prices or qualifications;
- break the rules of the platforms you post to (for example Google’s rules against fake or incentivised reviews);
- upload content that infringes someone else’s rights, or that is hateful, harassing or explicit;
- misuse the booking system, collect other people’s information without a lawful reason, or try to break or overload the app.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after telling you why where we reasonably can.
6. Your business page and bookings
If you publish a business page, the information and photos you choose are public. Customers who book through it share their details with you so you can contact them; you must use those details only for that booking and in line with the law (including POPIA).
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features over time and will tell you about changes that significantly affect you.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law that cannot be limited.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using the app and cancel at any time. You can ask us to delete your account and data — see our privacy policy.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you have a complaint, email us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. BNJ Marketing App is run by Bianca Joseph, trading as BNJ Development, in South Africa (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@bnjdevelopment.co.za.
